The Lexpo Sports & Social Club  Bar 1974 Grand Opening   A Light & Bitter was 1s/3p The bar itself was the reception counter from Clifford Street. We had to manhandle it up the outside fire escape to the 4th floor lounge, we nearly lost a couple of planners on the way up.

Dave Mick & John

The bar was built so we could raise money to buy two new kits for  our now Lexpo  football teams. Lexpo A and Lexpo B which was formulated by Ginger our original Captain. The less fancied team B went on to do the double under manager Ron Howard.
